UpdateSL Woes

I am currently having DSL issues, so I have given up on trying to look at deviations. My DSL is normally fine, but the last few days it’s been terrible. So forgive my lack of commenting, etc., but it takes forever to view any deviation in full size.

I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with tech support. She was utterly clueless. I love how they try to blame it on everything BUT their service. I finally lost my patience and just snapped on the woman. Told her flat out I am NOT jumping through anymore of her stupid hoops, send someone out to check the line. Another half hour later they finally agreed with me there is a problem in the line. Wow, really??? No kidding?

Here’s hoping they get it fixed ASAP.


I’m back. More or less, anyway. Though it is summer, and I do not plan to sit at my desk unless I must. And a bit at night.
The break was what I needed, and if I kill comments on my submissions from time to time, well, deal with it. If you really want to comment on something, and I disabled them, send me a note!

My thanks for your comments and faves, I truly appreciate the support. I just hit 50,000 page views, and normally, I do not make remarks about such things. But I suppose that is something to hoot about here. Thank you, very much, for that kind of support. I also truly appreciate the skills that I have gained in my time here.

I’m going on hiatus for a little while, Ironic that I should feel the need to do that right after 50,000 page views, but I must. I have a lot going on suddenly off line, and more happening online in recent days. I cannot keep up with it all right now, so something has to give for a while. I have noticed that I’m feeling a little burned out with the online communities the last few weeks, so this would be the thing to step back from for a while. I did not realize how much of my time it occupied, until I eased back some in the last week or so.

I’m not entirely sure how long I’ll be gone, but I do have a Wordpress blog and a personal gallery; the links are above to those. Or you can just send me an email to say hello. I’ve had an online presence for a long time, so I’m easy to find. Or so a few folks have demonstrated in the past.

Well, I injured my shoulder when I did a tuck and roll in the street a few months back. The dog leash slipped from my fingers and was dragging on the ground, had to catch him! Rolled right to my feet though, lol, did not know I could still do that.

That's a tough one. I think Dee since she is the only other one I know in decent shape. We might be able to climb out, lol!

I have been to SO many rock concerts, I think I have to say symphony. Have not been to nearly as many of those.

The D&D monters manuals and Dungeon master guide (my son and his friends want me to be the DM for their game) some of my books on Photoshop and 3D stuff. The Religion (fantastic book) printing paper, empty CD cases, bizz cards, geeze, want me to go on?? It's my desk and all.

Absolutely, cannot get them off otherwise.

I hope you all enjoyed the holiday, if you celebrate it that is. Mine was quiet and fun, and not as stressful as most holidays can be.

Thank you for the images you added to your faves and collections in recent days, I truly appreciate your support. And hello to my recent watchers, I appreciate your choice, and I hope you enjoy!

On April 2 it marked my 2 year anniversary here, I forgot about that, ! I had joined previously, just to read something a friend had written. It was marked mature, so I had to join. I was here that one time, and then not back until I began posting my artwork.
I have to admit, it was one of the smartest choices I have made in so far as online galleries go. Granted, I’m kind of distant, but I do value the friends I have made here, as well as the things I have learned. And it’s simply a pleasure to view everyone’s work too.

Here is to another year of art and friends and better things for us all!
